This Is What Music Streaming Services Pay Artists

A little over a year ago I started sharing my music with the world. At that point, I had been playing the piano for a few years and I felt ready to share some interpretations of pieces of classical composers with the rest of the world.

At this point, I have had revenue income from virtually every platform out there. TikTok, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Apple Music and many more streaming services have paid me money for streams or views. All these streaming services pay even little amounts out to the artist and so at the time of writing, I have received over 5000 payments from all these streaming services, ranging from a couple of cents to a couple of bucks.
